How we are listening to Yacht Rock this summer
Memorial Day Weekend is here, and you know what that means…Yacht Rock is finally back! This past weekend was the official start to summer weather, beach vibes and of course, party music. There are many ways to listen to your favorite tunes and below are a few of our favorites:
Listening to Christopher Cross on your deck
No one quite evokes the Yacht Rock feeling like Mr. Cross with his melodic voice and his harmonious strings. I like to listen to “Sailing” on an MuSo QB, which is incredibly flexible and easy to setup. Llisten anywhere your home network extends to.
Working with the Doobie Brothers
My wife is a huge fan of the Doobies and she likes to sit in her office and listen to “What a Fool Believes” when she is working. The Q Acoustics Q Active 200s are a perfect mix of function and sound. Powered monitors that are Roon ready making them very easy to integrate into a small space.
Feelin' that Summer Breeze
What is better than laying out on your deck and listening to some Seals & Croft on your Meze Elites through a Chord Hugo 2 and 2Go. The smooth and easy to listen to Meze Elites matched with the incredibly detailed Chord Hugo 2. There is no better way to enjoy the "Summer Breeze" then relaxing outside on a beautiful day.
Chillin' on Baker Street
It’s the song that everybody knows when it comes on, but you may not know the song's actual name. Google it- you'll know. The best way to listen to some Gerry Rafferty is truly going old school and pulling out the album. The newest SME Model 60 is great for this because as it will deliver the ultimate listening experience.
